I have been a loyal fans of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. It is great to calm my pimple. But I can’t try any other Tea Tree range because I am afraid it will dry out my skin. I also often refuse to wear peel-off mask, because sometimes their texture makes your skin dry so bad.

That’s why when I saw the mask is from Tea Tree range with peel-off kind of mask, I was wondering if it will be okay for my dry skin type.

PACKAGING

First of all I want to share about the packaging. The product is using a small bowl made of plastic. You can tear the cover to see the product inside. The mask made from powder and you have to add water (around 21ml) to create the mask.

The mask itself can cover about my full and half face. So I think you can separate the powder first based on how much mask do you need.

TEXTUREthe body shop tea tree peel off mask

The texture is from powder combined with water, it become liquid mask. You have to mix it very well to prevent having a clumpy texture. And time is very important too. Because if you don’t use it as soon as possible, the mask will dry and you can’t use it anymore.

When I applied it to my skin, the first impression that I got is the scent of Tea Tree. My skin also feels a little bit cold and I like it so much! I can use it as a session of meditation.

Just wait until the mask is damp or nearly dry and you can peel-off your mask! This is the fun part yet very scary for someone who has dry skin like me. But this product it doesn’t make my skin dry at all! My skin feel more clean, bright, and also soft.

The scent is absolutely tea tree. And for me the scent itself doesn’t quite strong. But for someone who rarely use tea tree products maybe need a little be adjustment.

The color of the product is green!

RESULT

I am very happy to be one of the first person who try The Body Shop Tea Tree Peel-Off Mask before they sell it at The Body Shop store. And I am very satisfied with the result of the product without drying out my skin. The other friend who tried it too, said that her pimple become more calm after using this mask. And I am truly believe that because it is using tea tree which is know as an ingredient to calm acne.

My tips is not using brush like mine when mix and apply it, because there will be a lot of product go to waste. I prefer using spatula to mix it and hands to apply it.
