When I knew that Halal Bihalal this year will be held at my grandma’s house in Cisarua, I knew that I need to prepare a one night stay. After the rest of my family agreed, I browsed many hotels around Cisarua through pegipegi.com.
And I was mesmerized by the pictures from Grand USSU Hotel & Convention‘s gallery. Don’t you agree?
After that, we agreed to booked this hotel. For a night stay, it costs around IDR 625.000,- (USD 48,-). It’s a great price, regarding it was high season when I stayed.
This hotel located in Jalan Raya Puncak Km 79, Cisarua Bogor. It takes about 2 hours ride from Jakarta. But you need to know when is the one way time from Jakarta or to Jakarta to prevent traffic jam. This hotel is on the right of the road from Jakarta. It is not far away from the old Cimory restaurant.
In this hotel has several cluster with different type of room. My room is in
Bougenville type. It is not far away from Amarylis Restaurant and Front Office. Bougenville type is located at the back area of the hotel. So if you want to go out, you need to drive or ask the hotel employee to drive you out with this car.
Bougenville room type is great for family stay because it is very spacious. The room is clean and neat. There is Sajadah also in every room. We asked for extra bed (IDR 150.000,-) and I am so sad about it. Because it is only a bed with blanket. Poor my sister who was freezing through the night.

The bathroom is also clean. Too bad the water was not running smoothly. The water even off for a few minutes. I asked the operator and she said that the problem is because there are a lot of people in this hotel at the moment. I couldn’t say anything, so I prefer to wait. Thank God, the water was running again.
My room was in third level. This hotel has no elevator, so you need to walk a little bit. The good thing if you stay in Bougenville type is you can get the natural view from your balcony.
We had breakfast in the day after. I read that the restaurant is very spacious, but sometimes it can be too crowded since this hotel has so many room. So I woke up and went to the restaurant at 06.30 AM. I choose to sat in the bridge, so I could eat while seeing the scenery.

| Omelet |
Omelet is one of the must menu to eat in every restaurant. So I chose omelet to be my first menu. In this hotel, the chef already made so many omelet, so people can eat it without waiting the chef. This is a good idea but sometimes the cold omelet is not very delicious.

I also ate Pancake which was like Kue Cubit for me. Hehehehe. Don’t get me wrong, I like it. I even ate 3 of it 😛

The last menu that I chose it Chicken Porridge. I didn’t really like it, since it was too salty.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Grand USSU Hotel & Convention. And this hotel is very recommended for your family 🙂
